The mathematical Fibonacci sequence is found all throughout nature. It is a naturally occurring pattern found in trees, storms, seashells, flower petals and even galaxies. The sequence is found by adding the previous two numbers of the sequence together.
The Golden Ratio value is originally derived from the ratio of two consecutive numbers in the Fibonacci sequence. The ratio represents the best proportions to transfer to the brain and is known as the Most Beautiful Number in the Universe.
The reason the Golden Ratio is so extraordinary is because it can be visualised almost everywhere, from geometry to all through nature and to the human body itself.
As my children have grown into adults the wonder of the miracle of life impressed upon me. Creating a single portrait of an individual’s corresponding age with the Fibonacci sequence of numbers delivers us a ‘Golden Ratio’ of a person’s ageing transformation. This leads us to examine the beauty of human existence.
